Center Stage with Brailyn (Lynny) Cheshire

Meet Lynny Cheshire!

In our second edition of Avant Garde Theatre of Dance's Center Stage, we present to you Miss Lynny Cheshire.

Lynny is a competitive dancer in the Apprentice Program here at Avant Garde Theatre of Dance. This fourth grader is 9 years old and a very motivated and hard worker. She currently takes Intermediate Ballet 2 days per week, Intermediate Contemporary 1 day, and Intermediate Jazz 1 day per week. 

"She's a beautiful young dancer, who is very focused and talented," says Miss Sarah.

Lynny has a Great Dane named Raven that she loves to play with. When asked what her favorite class was at Avant Garde Theatre of Dance, she said, "That's hard, I can't pick just one!"

We had to ask Lynny, "What is it about Avant Garde that you love?" She replied, "I love Miss Sarah and Miss Sydney. I love learning new things in class each week and I love the new art on the walls." 

When we asked Lynny if she was excited to be in the competitive program, she immediately responded, "Yes, very much excited!" So we had to know, what is it that excites Miss Lynny the most and she stated "I like being part of a team and I am excited to do our first competition!"

Lynny has many friends at Avant Garde Theatre of Dance that attend other classes and are also on the Apprentice Team. Some of the students she wanted to mention "Jensen and Erica, as well as all of the other girls in her class once we get to know each other!"

We asked, what she truly thought about Miss Sarah and she said "I think she is nice, she is pretty and I love watching her dance!"

So, I think it goes without saying, Miss Lynny will be working very hard in the Apprentice Program... but, she told us anyways by stating, "Oh, I am going to practice so very hard to bring home that trophy!"

  Meet Jillian Diaz! In our tenth edition of Avant Garde Theatre of Dance's Center Stage, we present to you Miss Jillian Diaz. Jillian is a competitive dancer in the Apprentice Program at Avant Garde  Theatre of Dance.  This fifth grader is not new to dance. Meet Genesis Hernandez! We are so proud to present to you our fifth edition of Avant Garde Theatre of Dance's Center Stage! This week, we get to know a little more about that little girl we posted month's ago on our Page. If you don't remember, maybe the photo below will ring a bell?  Miss Genesis was the very first student that we ever posted on our Facebook page, she was the first student to sign up at Avant Garde Theatre of Dance, and she is still so very excited and happy every single day we see her for class! Genesis is a competitive dancer in the Apprentice Program here at Avant Garde Theatre of Dance.  This first grader is such a hard worker and she is hyper focused in every class she takes.
